Font Preview Lab is provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies. This policy describes how the app handles information when you preview fonts, edit typography, manage presets, import fonts, and export images.

Information accessed and stored

Font Preview Lab processes the text you enter and your typography choices on your device. The Android app saves your current draft, favorites, named presets, comparison selections, default sample text and typography, and export filename and image dimensions in local app storage. Text you enter may contain personal information if you choose to include it.

When you import a TTF or OTF font through the Android file picker, the app reads the selected file and its display name, validates the font, and stores a copy in its private storage. It creates a file identifier from the font contents to detect duplicate imports. It also reads font character information to check character support.

When you export a layout, the app creates a PNG containing your text and selected visual settings and writes it to the destination you choose through the system file picker.

The inspected application does not implement accounts or collect information for transmission to the developer. No advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash-reporting service was identified. It does not request access to contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

How information is used

The app uses locally stored information to restore your work, display and compare fonts, manage your font library and favorites, save and apply presets, check character support, and generate images. Font imports and image rendering are handled on the device. No account or developer-operated remote service is required for these features.

Sharing and external services

The app does not automatically send your text, fonts, or saved settings to the developer or advertising or analytics providers.

If you choose to share a saved PNG, the app opens Android’s sharing interface and grants the receiving app access to that image. The image includes the text rendered in your layout. The recipient and any service you select handle that image under their own privacy practices.

The system file picker may offer cloud storage providers as import sources or export destinations. If you select one, that provider may process the selected font or exported image according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Android backup is enabled in the app configuration. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may back up and restore app data through your backup provider. This is separate from any developer-operated data collection.

Third-party components and permissions

The inspected app uses Android and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose components for its interface and device functions. No third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK was identified in the inspected source and dependency declarations.

The Android manifest includes Internet permission, but the inspected active app functionality does not implement remote uploads or network services. That permission alone does not mean your content is transmitted.

Storage and security

Saved preferences and imported font copies are kept in Android app-private storage, using the operating system’s access controls. Exports are saved outside that private storage at your chosen destination and may be accessible to other apps or services permitted to access that location.

The app can write import, export, and sharing errors to Android’s diagnostic logs. No automatic transmission of those logs to the developer was identified.

The inspected source does not establish additional app-specific encryption for stored information or an app-operated transmission channel. Transfers performed by selected storage, sharing, or backup providers depend on those providers. No storage or security measure can guarantee complete protection.

Retention and deletion

Local drafts, settings, favorites, presets, and imported font copies remain until they are changed, removed, or the app’s local data is cleared. The app does not implement a timed retention schedule.

You can delete saved presets and remove imported font files through the app. Removing an imported font leaves draft and preset settings intact and uses a replacement font where necessary. A font’s saved display-name metadata may remain in local preferences after its file is removed.

To remove the app’s locally stored information more completely, use Android’s app-storage controls to clear its data. Uninstalling ordinarily removes app-private data, but backups may remain or restore data depending on your device settings.

Removing a font from the app does not delete its original file. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not delete exported PNGs, images already shared with others, or copies held by external storage or backup services. Manage those copies through the relevant destination, recipient, or provider.

You may send privacy questions or deletion requests to mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The app has no remote account or developer-held content repository identified in the inspected source, so the developer cannot directly erase files stored only on your device or held by providers you select. If you contact the developer by email, your message and email address become available to the recipient and email providers. A specific retention period for that correspondence has not been established.

Children’s privacy

Font Preview Lab provides typography and design tools. A specific intended age group has not been established in the supplied information. No age collection, child profile, or child-specific tracking functionality was identified. The app’s local handling of entered text and files applies to all users. Web preview

The inspected Web/Wasm preview keeps app state in temporary memory rather than the Android app’s persistent storage. Font import, PNG export, and image sharing are available in the Android app rather than this preview. The inspected preview source does not establish the hosting provider’s logging or retention practices.
